Job Summary:

The Global Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the company’s overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize process efficiency and productivity. This role will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors, ensuring that the company’s supply chain is efficient and effective throughout all stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Identify and qualify new vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure product availability. Implement inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to address disruptions.
  • Data Analysis: Use data and analytics to forecast demand, manage inventory, and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations regarding shipping, customs, and import/export.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage technology to improve supply chain visibility, track performance, and enhance decision-making.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Implement sustainable practices within the supply chain to minimize environmental impact and promote corporate social responsibility.
  • Cost Management: Manage supply chain budgets and work to reduce costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and tools.
    • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Familiarity with international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
    •  Relentless sense of ownership, curiosity, and initiative and a self-starter mindset
    •  Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for work

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000.
  •  Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus and equity plan.
