Staff Metrology and Quality Control Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Metrology and Quality Control Engineer to lead characterization efforts in our Metrology lab, utilizing their analytical chemistry, QC, and instrumentation expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Be a technical lead in the analytical chemistry lab on cathode material characterization and qualification
- Establish metrology method to meet cathode industry standards
- Develop SOP for data quality control
- Develop new material characterization method to serve the need for material R&D
- Establish metrology roadmap to expand our analytical capability
Qualifications:
- Familiar with analytical chemistry, especially, ICP-OES, Titration, TGA-DSC, etc.
- Experience with battery material characterization is a plus
- Familiar with powder characterization, such as particle size analysis, BET, XRD.
- Experience with instrumentation setup, maintenance and customized improvements
- Experience with implementing quality control practices to ensure data integrity. Familiar with Gage R&R, SQC, etc.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
- The estimated base salary range for this role is $160,000-$190,000.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus and equity plan.
